This release contains the below defect resolutions, enhancements and/or new features:
Type | Product | What You Need To Know |
Defect | Plus (X5) & Select (E13/15 Only) | The payment application will now present a ‘decline’ message and automatically perform a void (or reversal) transaction if no transaction response is received from the TSYS payment gateway. This will prevent duplicate charges to cardholders in the event the first transaction was approved. Previously, when no response was received on an approved transaction, the application indicated the transaction was declined although the transaction was processed, causing the card to be processed again resulting in a duplicate charge to the cardholder. |
Defect | Plus (X5) & Select (E13/15 Only) | When a user performs end of day functions (e.g. adjust tips, counts drawer and closes their register) a batch will be closed for transactions associated with that device (i.e. terminal or register) only. Previously, when performing end of day functions closing the register would close all batches for all devices before the user had the ability to perform end of day functions for all registers (i.e. adjust tips) causing a merchant to potentially lose unadjusted tips. |
Enhancement | Back Office, Plus (X5) & Select (E13/15 Only) | In support of the upcoming market launch of Surcharging, code will be released in support of Surcharging functionality. All details associated with the Surcharging functionality will be provided as part of future market launch training and communications. A merchant will NOT experience any changes. |
