Mobile Activation
The first step in the Vital Mobile activation process is downloading the application to your mobile device
Download the Vital Mobile Application by selecting the relevant option below:
Once the Vital Mobile Application is downloaded to your device, review the C3 Activation Video or use the Activation Steps below to continue in the setup and activation process.

Activation Steps
The welcome email will give you the Account ID, Username, & Temporary Password that you will use to log into the Vital POS application. It will come from no-reply@vitatalpos.com If you do not see it in your inbox, check your spam folder as well.
If you did not receive your Welcome Email, please contact our Center of Excellence and they will be happy to assist in getting this re-set to you. 1-800-224-9730
Use the following information from your welcome email to log into the Vital Mobile application.
- 6-Digit Account ID
- Username
- Temporary Password (You will set your own custom password in the next step)
The password that you set must be
At least:
- 8 characters long
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 special character (EX. ! @#>?)
Once you have setup your new password, you will be asked to read and accept the terms of use for the Vital POS application, once you have read the Terms, you can click Accept.
Next you will be prompted to enter a PIN number for quick access to the point of sale.
- Select Continue
- Enter in the 4-Digit PIN you would like to use
- Verify the PIN number by entering it again

If you skip this process now, you will only be able to add a PIN from the Vital Back Office.)
Next you will be prompted to Pair the Card Reader.
Note:
If you skip the pairing process, you will still be able to run manually keyed card payments on the Vital POS application.
- Power on the Vital Mobile C3 Card Reader by holding the power button on the side of the device, this will also put the card reader into pairing mode.
- Select Pair Device on the screen
- Locate the Serial Number that matches the Serial number on the back of your device and tap on it.
- Once the Card Reader has paired, you can select “Learn how to take payments” to walk through a quick tutorial or “Start Taking Payments” to be taken to the Home Screen.
Note:
If you do not see your card reader in the list, select the Refresh button to rescan for devices. If you see more than one Vital card reader in the list, power off all card readers except for the card reader you are attempting to pair to.
