How to Combine Held Orders

The Combine Orders feature on your Vital Select app allows you to combine multiple Orders together into one single Order. This can be useful if customers place Orders separately, but want to pay for all of the Orders on a single Check.

To combine Orders, press the Open Tab on the Orders Screen. Tap either the My Orders or All Orders Button in the left column and locate the Order Tiles of the Orders you wish to combine. Tap an Order Tile to load its Order Information in the Receipt Viewer. Then tap the Combine Button above the Receipt Viewer. This will change the Receipt Viewer to the Combine View which allows you to select multiple Orders at once.

Note:

Order Ahead Orders cannot be combined because they have been paid for in advance.

After you press the Combine Button, locate the other Order(s) you wish to combine with the original Order and tap the Order Tile(s) to add the Order(s) to the Receipt Viewer. Once you have selected all the necessary Order Tiles and they are listed in the Receipt Viewer, press the Combine Button located below the Receipt Viewer.

This will combine the Orders under the information of the original Order selected. It is also important to note that Discounts that were applied to any of the combined Orders will be removed. If you want to re-add the Discounts to the new Order, you will need to open the Order and on the Current Tab, press the Discounts Button located above the Receipt Viewer.

Step by Step Summary

  1. Select Orders from the Home Screen
  2. Select the Open Tab on the Orders Screen
  3. Locate the Order Tile of the first Order you want to combine and tap it to load its information in the Receipt Viewer
  4. Press the Combine Button above the Receipt Viewer
  5. Tap the Order Tiles of all other Orders that need to be combined into one Order
  6. Press the Combine Button below the Receipt Viewer
  7. The Orders will be combined and displayed on the Open Tab under the information of the original Order selected
