How to Assign a Role

To Assign a Role you must first have a Role Added to the Timeclock. If you already have a Role added, then begin by selecting Settings on the left side of the Timeclock Navigation menu, and then choose Assignment from the listings.

On the Assign Role screen, you have the option to add edit and delete the Roles for an employee. You also have the option to set a specific pay rate for each individual Role.

Assign Role:

To Assign a Role to an employee, select the Plus Sign Icon located to the right side of the Role's name. Next click the new option box that appears, and then select a Role from the dropdown menu that appears.

If you select a Role that is a salary paid position, a pop-up will appear. Enter the salary amount in the Annual Salary box without any commas. The Annual Salary will then be converted into an Hourly Rate to the right. Select the Set button to assign this Role or select Cancel to go back to the Assignments page.

Edit Role:

To edit a Role on the Assignment Page, select the options box, that appears on the right side of any of the Roles listed next to an employee and select a new option that appears.

Delete Role:

To delete a Role on the Assignment Page, select the Garbage Can Icon, next to a Role, located to the right side of the Employee's name. The Role will instantly will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

Pay Rate

To add or edit the pay rate of a Role for an employee , select the Rate Option Box, located on the right side of the of the employee’s name. Enter the rate of pay, then select the Save button located on the top right side of the screen.

Step by Step Summary

  1. Select Settings on the Timeclock Navigation menu, and then choose Assignment from the listings.
  2. Choose to Assign or Edit a Role to an employee by selecting the Plus Sign Icon.
  3. Enter Salary Rate or Hourly pay rate.
  4. Delete a Role by select the Garbage Can Icon.
  5. Select the Save button.
